Around The Greens

The big event of the bowling season, the Burton cup, was finally decided on the Tuesday after Easter when the Kahutia team defeated the Gisborne team by 32 to 20 after some great bowling.

The Gisborne-East Coast Bowling Centre's singles championships were played off recently.

The weather, wet and windy, did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of members of the Kaiti Women's Bowling Club on their closing day. Although they managed to get only six ends played they were quite happy to pose for their picture (below) afterwards.
