Not roving in the true sense of the word but more like making a bee-line for Christchurch to where he has been transferred is Bruce Pidgeon of 100 Rutene Road. Bruce is travelling all the way in his vintage car, a 1926 Clyno. He has this car in perfect running condition and expects no trouble on his trip south-just hopes the weather stays fine. Bruce goes on the trip alone but will return for his wife and family as soon as he has arranged accommodation.
