...To Rove Again.
Although only back from Wellington three years (1964-67), Roving Hori (65) is to rove again, this time down to Nelson and Motueka. Prior to coming back to Uawa Hori was with the New Electricity Department at Manor Park, Lower Hutt, as cook-house assistant. This picture, taken with camp friends outside the "cassino", shows the camp's 70-year-old cook, Sergeant Jack Atkins from Levin (sitting at the back with hat), while sitting next to him is Hori.

...Paikea may win again. Paikea, who won the 1967 rugby football competitions of the Tolaga Bay sub-union, has been reported recently to field a strong side this season. The picture is of the Paikea team of 1961, runners-up to the Hauiti club of that year. Third from left in front row is Pat King, the captain, now a top referee on the East Coast. Third from left, back row, is last year's captain who will play again this year.
