Then And Now

Two wars have been fought, a new bridge built, a post office demolished, a magnificent new court house erected, another new bridge being built and many trees planted in between the times these two pictures were taken.

Taken from the corner of the Esplanade and Rutene Road the photos show these many changes that have taken place in that period from the old days (above) to the present time (below).
