Picturesque Houseboat Afloat

After some years in the building, Mr Alex McPhail can look forward to many years of pleasure enjoying the tranquillity of Lake Waikare-moanafrom his recently launched houseboat. Supported by sealed drums, the capacious vessel holds four bunks, with facilities for cooking and eating.

A keen fisherman, Mr McPhail can tow the houseboat around by launch and find safe anchorage anywhere round the lake's edge. Two or three days at a time can be spent in spots not accessible by road or other means of communication.
