No: It's way up yonder in them thar hills!

A notable first in the agricultural field took place this season when a crop of barley was harvest-ed off the hill country of Brian Holden's Rimunui station. This particular area under cultivation consisted of 40 acres, and, lying at an elevation of 600 feet, yielded 70 bushels /to the acre. This was an excellent yield considering some loss .of seed was inevitable due to the strong unseasonable winds at the time of harvesting.
