P.B. Horticultural Society
The Rose And Iris Show drew the usual large crowd of spectators and competitors but the show had a difference. Upstairs on display were the entries in the P.B. Floral Championship, held for the first time this year.
The Champion Bloom was Mrs R. E. Coulston's Chicago Peace.
Just a few of the entries in the show.
The winning arrangement of the championship was done by Mrs R. Baigent.
Mrs J. Laracy's exquisite arrangement failed to gain a place because it exceeded the floor area.
The champion iris bloom, "Rainbow Gold", was grown by Mrs R. Harvey.
This very amusing arrangement by Glenda Thornton was placed first.
