The two Riverside bowling teams that played off for the East Coast women's graded fours at Wairoa. Back row: Mesdames B. Lennie, M. Coles, P. Moffat and V. Hume (s) were defeated by E. Dolman, M. Carney, V. Coker and A. Robertson (s). The three teams which emerged with four wins were the two Riverside teams and a team from Omaranui. Thirty-two teams competed.
