Correspondent Schooler's Visit

Pupils and parents of the eastern branch of the Correspondence School gathered at the Scout Hall, Carnarvon Street, for their annual meeting. Coming from many remote country areas these people attended the meeting chaired by Mr H. G. Intemann, the resident teacher. Mr H. E. McVeagh, headmaster of the Te Karaka school, also attended the meeting and announced that Vicki Smith of Te Karaka had been accredited her University Entrance, no mean feat for a correspondence student.
