The Te Hapara sub-branch of Plunket held its gala day at the Plunket rooms in Karamu Street recently.
The attendance was good and business brisk.

Mr Lex Grey, pre-school advisory officer to the Maori Education Foundation paid a visit to the Elgin Playcentre recently amd gave a talk on preparing children for reading and also the use of basic form boards.
