Export Lamb Competition

The Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association conducted their export lamb competition at the Gisborne Refrigerating Co's works, and while entries were down on last year, their quality was exceptionally high.

Winner of the Continuance Challenge Cup for class 1 (three prime lambs bred for export - on the hook), was Jim Low of Tolaga Bay.

A and P President Vaughan Field is shown with Mr Low who also took the Nelsons Cup for the most points gained by an East Coast entrant.
