Reaching The Top

The members of the Intermediate School's Festival Team, the top group, have reached a very high standard in gymnastics under the instruction of their teacher, Mr T. Daly. All have gained their silver medals and are going for their gold at the end of the year.

Forming a pyramid the group is Karen Hollis, Leonie Stapleton, Edna Westrupp (front), Bruce Symes, Tony Ratapu, Murray Whitfield (standing), Gary Bilton (top) and Haromi Mumu (left) and Girlie Pohatu.

Mr Daly supports Gary Bilton as he does a forward somersault with a half twist.
Also at the school, boys and girls are turning out top class pottery work. Many and varied are the objects created and they must have the magic touch as their glazing would be among the best seen anywhere.
