Poverty Bay Indoor Bowling Club News

The president's fours were held recently at the club's rooms in Ormond Road.

Play extended over Saturday, August 26, and the winners were George McFarlane, skip, Betty Huston, Lionel Rhodes and Harry Maynard. Runners-up were Harry Richards, Rosie Scott and Mary Turner.

A prominent bowling family in the club is that of Mark Moore, his wife Jean, and daughters Gaye (the youngest player in the club) and Janet.
