Sunday School Dedicated. The new Sunday School room at St. John's Church, Mangapapa, was dedicated by the Bishop of Waiapu, the Most Reverend N. A. Lesser, on his recent confirmation visit to Gisborne. Pictured, above, with the Bishop are Canon J. R. Maclean (left), Reverend F. Middlebrook and Wardens M. G. Dobson and J. A. Jukes, and, below, the new school addition.

Guide News. The supporters' group of the Aranga Company has donated a clock, which has been placed on the wall of the Guide Hall, as a memorial to the late Mrs J. Prentice, who was a strong member of the Guide movement.

Unveiling the clock is Aranga captain Mrs J. Moles and with her are Mr Prentice and his daughters Jocelyn, Margaret and Yvonne.

At the annual general meeting of the Waimata District Group the girls who went to Auckland to the Lady Baden Powell rally performed the items given by them in Auckland.

Prior to the items on stage (below), films and slides of the happenings in Auckland were shown to Guides who were unable to go.
