Engagements.

Three sons and three daughters were present while those absent were Jim (Edinburgh), Aubrey (Europe), Reg (Wellington) and Billy (Tauranga). In the picture are Sadie (Mrs Lloyd), George, Sam, Fred, Mary (Mrs Eagle) and Betty (Mrs Parsons).

Stubbings--Holder. June Margaret, only daughter of Mr and Mrs F. J. G. Holder, Kowhai Street, to Graeme Vincent, eldest son of Mrs V. W. Stubbings, Delautour Road, and the late Mr Stubbings.

A family gathering was held to celebrate the 80th birthday of Mrs J. McKay, 27 Atkinson Street.

Another family gathering to wish a senior citizen "happy birthday" is that of the Robinsons. The occasion is the 97th birthday of Captain Arthur Robinson, 115 Stanley Road. Friends and relatives all called and those present around from left are, Mrs Joan Patty snr, Mrs J. Gordon, Mrs Una Robinson (daughter-in-law), Mervyn Robinson (son), Eric Robinson (nephew), Lionel Robinson (grandson), Jock Gordon, Neil Robinson (grandson), Arthur Robinson (son), and Mrs Lorna Halliwell (daughter).
