May Races

With nine races on the card and the consequently shorter times between events, the Poverty Bay Turf Club's autumn meeting at Makaraka proved a profitable attraction for both the public and owners.

Brilliantly fine weather on both days drew big crowds and the large fields provided excellant racing.
