Victory For Red
The annual Queen's Birthday fixture between Poverty Bay and East Coast resulted in a 19 to nine points win for the Bay.
A full stand and a large crowd on the bank witnessed this first rep match of the season and although the Bay won by ten points the Coast showed determination to hold the opposition to a fairly even game.
Pat Ransley (13) bullocked his way over the line for this try and referee Ray Lundon signals the try as B. Penetito and D. Ruha run up too late.
