Signal Honours

Making a presentation to Mr Armstrong is the chairman of directors of the Gisborne Poultry Co., Mr C. Wilkinson, while at right are Mrs Armstrong and Mr L. Richardson, chairman of the Poultry Farmers' Association.

An honour not bestowed lightly, Ron, a Venturer with the Kaiti Sea Scout group, has done plenty of work and service in unassuming fashion and well deserves the award.

He will continue with the group as assistant Scout master, training younger members in Scouting lore.

Presenting the certificate is the District Commissioner, Mr H. G. Intemann.

A three month fully paid holiday in addition to the watch is also granted members of the company who have given 20 years' service to the firm.

Central zone manager Ian McCorquodale presents the watch as Mrs White and manager Ernie Mullen look on.
