Photographers with a difference are Keith Wade (left) and Barry Chapman, who specialty is the photographing of your internals, not your externals. They are radiographers, and many of you will have (or should have) met them recently when the Mobile X-ray unit paid its 2½ yearly visit to the city. Covering an area bounded by Dannevirke, East Cape, Tauranga, and Taupo, they X-ray about 23,000 people each year. Barry, who lives in Ormond Road, is keen on water skiing and is a member of the Car Club, while Keith's hobby and former profession is photography. He lives at 101 Whitaker Street.

Derek Phillips, senior draughtsman at Glengarry, Corson, and Pilbrow, is married, with one child. He came to Gisborne from London over three years ago, and hopes to sit an architects qualifying exam in the future. His main spare time activity has been his house, which he partially built himself, at the top of Hauroa Road, overlooking Kaiti.

Eileen Hammond, of 189 Roebuck Road, is secretary at the Anglican Parish office in Derby Street. A member of the Maori Women's Welfare League, her interests include handicrafts (both Maori and European), tennis, and swimming. She has a daughter, Robine, in the R.N.Z.A.F. Mrs Hammond would be pleased to receive any old photos of parish identities and events, and old copies of the Parish News, as the Parish Centenary is coming up.

Picture-goers will recognise Ess Tyler (left), a cashier at the Kings Theatre, and Yvonne Ra-re, an usherette. Returning to Gisborne from Auckland one year ago Ess lives at 198 Grey Street, and along with her husband, Jack, enjoys fishing, judo, and camping. Yvonne's main preoccupation is her two sons, but she also enjoys outdoor life. She lives at 100 Chalmers Road.

Brian Davis, of Patutahi, is assistant supervisor of reserves for the City Council. Coming from Hastings two years ago, his interests include vintage cars (he is looking for parts for a 1910 Standard 10), football, and swimming.
