Boys' High Sports Forays

The Boys' High rowing teams attended the Maadi Cup regatta at Karapiro recently and performed creditably.

The athletic team went to the inter secondary school sports in Hawkes Bay and seven of them gained honours.

First in the 5th form fours are Trevor Galvan, Len Symes, Roger Walker, Warwick Bull and Stuart Donald (cox).

Fourth in the 4th form fours are Donald Stevens, Peter Waititi, Simon and Richard Spence and Neil Roberts (cox).

The sport is for the trying...Jack Barbara, Joe Lincoln, Chris Wirepa and Heath Johnstone.

Richard Steele and Graham Mullooly...Fourth in the cox pairs.

The athletes are, in front, Jamie Ogilvie, Royden Owen, John Jamieson, and at back, Mike Trafford, Charlie Thompson, Gordon Barbara and Gil Mohi.
