Yachting Final

Accumulating a total of only 19.7 points in the New Zealand Finn Class championships held on the bay, Noel Everett of Auckland was an easy winner of the Rothman's Silver Helm.

"Jonty" Farmer of Rotorua who gained third place with 58.7 points became elegible for the Rothman sponsored trip to the next Finn Class World Cup to be held in Europe.

At the end of the week's sailing, a function was held for the presentation of trophies.
