£3,000 Loss

Robert Holt's timber supplies suffered a serious loss when fire damaged more than £3,000 worth of stock in their yards in Carnarvon Street on the evening of Saturday, February 18.

Heavy clouds of smoke rose over the area as firemen quelled the flames in the burning timber.
