Employed by the National Insurance Co., of N.Z., Ross was transferred to Australia four years ago.

Jan, Who is the daughter of Mr and Mrs R. W. Mathews, 16 Edinburgh Street, Feilding, was pictured in the January, 1959, issue of "Photo News" when she was a prizewinner in the baby section of K.K.K.'s 1958 home studio competition.

From Australia comes this pic of former Gisbornite Ross Williams who now lives in Shepparton, Victoria. Ross was recently elected president of the Apex Club and is shown wearing the presidential collar of that organisation. The Apex Club is a service organisation with the emphasis on all phases of community service.

From another ex-Gisborne family comes this pic of Jan Mathews dressed for a part in a recent dance recital.

Retiring after 30 years' service with Adairs is Sid Lewis. At a farewell function held at Ulverstone the staff presented the Lewis's with an armchair and with Sid sitting in the chair and Mrs Lewis at right are Hal Andrew and chairman of directors Geoff Musgrave.

Gone to Nelson is the family of Fred and Josephine Appleton, Julie, Patrick, and in front, Wendy.
Fred is bridge overseer with the Ministry of Works.
