Scouting Adventures

The Te Hapara Air Scouts, under the leadership of Mr Gordon Gibson, have undertaken a couple of adventure trips in the past few months.

The first was a trip to Ruatoria where the highlight of the weekend was a climb up Mt Hikurangi under the guidance of Mr Dave Hughes.

They climbed as far as the Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club's hut on the first day, and, after staying overnight, and going to the top, returned to Ruatoria the next day.

The second trip was to Morere at Labour weekend.
