A.F.S. Branch Formed

At a meeting held in the Girls' High assembly hall recently a branch of the American Field Service was formed. This organisation arranges for the exchange of students between the United States and 75 other countries throughout the world. Since its inception more than 400 New Zealand students have gone to the U.S. on this exchange scheme.

With the formation of a branch in Gisborne, a panel of seniors will be available to interview students wanting to go on exchange, thus saving the extra expense of going to Auckland or Wellington to be interviewed.
