Virginia Mossman, daughter of Mrs P. W. Mossman, 107 Harris Street, left recently on a trip overseas. Going first to England, Virginia will later make a tour of the continent.

Six of Mrs E. Stenner's seven daughters gathered in Gisborne to help her celebrate her 80th birthday. A resident of Te Wiremu House, Mrs Stenner's daughters are, from left, Mesdames T. G. Foster (Hastings), E. Wilkinson (Gisborne), Mrs Stenner, and Mesdames L. W. Rogers (Gisborne), N. Howell (Hastings), L. J. Proudfoot (Ruakaturi), and W. Mulrooney (Gisborne).

Back home at 5 Willow Street are Mr and Mrs G. H. Fisher after an overseas trip. After touring France and Spain, they also did a six week's tour of Great Britain covering 4,000 miles in all, some of which included the journey to Land's End.

Joining the steady exodus of New Zealanders in the entertainment field to venture over the Tasman to Aussie and make good are the local lads, the Rialtos. They have accepted an engagement to play for the Christmas and New Year season at South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club in Kempsey, N.S.W., a top surfing resort.
