Junior Parade

Arranged by the Te Hapara Parent Teacher Association under the auspices of Adairs Ltd., and compered by Mrs Hunter, a fashion parade of childswear was modelled by pupils of the Te Hapara school in the Assembly Hall of the Girls' High School. The event was attended by a large crowd of parents and friends, and the school funds benefited considerably.

Peter Huntington, Deidre Patterson, Megan Ellis, Kerry McCullough, and Ross Muir and Peter Worsnop led off the parade.

Christopher Flood and John Brown paraded pyjamas.

Jillian White, Karen McMillan and Elizabeth Hewitt wore some high-fashion hats.
