Trophies won by members of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club during the past season were awarded at a function recently.
(1) J. Stevenson, who won the Modern Way Cup, presented this year for the most improved all-round athlete. John was winner this season of the N.Z. junior hammer throw championship.
(2) Jocelyn Dobbie, who won the Club Rose Bowl for competitor gaining most points.
(3) The president, Mr. W. Carmichael, and the chairman of committees, Mr. Stan. Parker, with the "trophies."
