All Blacks Coming Up
The All Blacks of the future attended a Saturday morning function when the Junior Rugby Advisory Board presented the cups won by the teams from the various schools in Saturday morning football over the past season.
The captains of the teams accepted the cups from Mr B. Wolstenholme, president P.B.R.U.
From left: Murray Le Compte (from Ilminster whose team won the 8th grade competition), Anthony Moleta (Edmund Campion, 10th), Philip Kanuta (Kaiti, 11th), Mark Te Kani (Kaiti 13th), and Alan Lloyd (Kaiti 12th).
Mr Wolstenholme, Pa Pohatu (Gisborne Intermediate) and Bob Browne (president of the board).
Giving their moral support at the function are Derek Westrupp, Kit Harrison and Lionel Vette.
And backing them up are Sidney Koia, Brian Barnett and Morris Poulsen.
