Bowling Championships

The Poverty Bay Basketball Rep Team of 1966 had a most successful season this year, as, apart from gaining third place in their grade at the N.Z. National Tournament at Rotorua, they also won the Steer Trophy, the Longley Rosebowl and the Robson Cup.

The team is, from left, at back, Mrs Kath Thomas (coach), Lee Tibble, Virginia Pinel, Ailsa Steele, Gill Fuller, Mrs R. Craill (manageress), and in front, Rosemarie Owen, Dawn Kirkman, Judy Grey, Brenda Walker (captain), Maureen Walsh (vicecaptain) and Doreen Gray.
