Covered with polythene and netted down, this gigantic mound of bulk super from the East Coast Fertilizer Works has been stockpiled as a reserve supply for aerial top dressing, carted from the rail by M. E. Jukes and Son. They have moved a total of 2,100 tons.

Taking delivery of the first Hino heavy duty truck to be used in the Gisborne area is Mr I. McIntosh. Of Japanese construction these trucks are being used in the Rotorua district for logging purposes. From left are Messrs I. G. Shaw, B. W. Jennings (Bloggs manager and salesman respectively), Mr McIntosh, T. Miura (Hino's Japanese representative in Australia), and Q. Allen (the importers' Rotorua representative).

Alan, 9, and Lynette, 2½, son and daughter of Phil and Beryl Hill, 12 Muir Street, hold for our inspection an unusual shaped lemon. From a tree which has been shifted three times, perhaps the odd shaped lemon has been formed in protest.
