Two daughters of Mr and Mrs S. D. Briant, Patutahi, graduated recently. They are, above left, Robin, who has graduated M.B.Ch.B. from Otago University and goes north to do a year in the Auckland Public Hospital, and above centre, Ann who has graduated B.Sc. from Victoria University and whose engagement has been announced to Lewis Deans, younger son of Mr and Mrs R. F. D. Ritchie, Lower Hutt.

Graduating B.A. from Auckland University is Kirsty, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. J. Maxwell, Wainui Road, and who will study this year for an honours degree at Victoria University.

Formerly of Gisborne and now of Whangarei, Mr and Mrs Lyle Spence's eldest daughter Sue graduated B.A. from Victoria. An exGisborne Girls' High student, Sue is now on the staff of St Margaret's College, Christchurch.

Graduating B.Sc. from Victoria, Susan Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs N. G. Foster, Opoutama, has announced her engagement to Russell John, younger son of Mrs H. Anderson, Ormondville, and the late Mr W. G. Schultz, Gisborne.

Miss Joan Williamson has transferred to the Suva branch of Armstrong and Springhall for one year.

Miss Marty Tamanui sailed on the Oriental Queen for an Australian working holiday.

With Mum and Dad, Mr and Mrs B. Richardson of 24 Kowhai Street, is daughter Susan, who has just been awarded her Queen's Guide Badge. Susan is a member of the Tauranganui Guide Co.
