Table Tennis Champs

The North Island silver jubilee table tennis championships were held in the Y.M.C.A. stadium recently, and some topclass players were seen in action.

A feature of the tournament was the downfall of the two top seeds in the men's singles event, namely Alan Tomlinson and Murray Dunn of Auckland by Garry Frew of Northland.
