Extremely proud of their extra large catch are (from left), Wayne, Ken and Barry Griffin. Fishing from Mr Trevor Carr's boat off the Kaiti Beach the boys finally caught the 10ft 3001b monster after it had taken six hooks previously.

Mr A. Clark of the Para Rubber Co., displays a tube which, after being punctured and taken out of the tyre was found to have worked itself completely over a sleeve that had been placed between the tube and the tyre. The inset shows some of the many hazardous objects which have found their way into tyres and tubes.

Of interest in Christies' store recently was this car which was supported by only four cups, one under each wheel. Mr C. Swan shows how each cup is situated.
