3 Tons An Hour

With the establishment of a Hayes Corrugated Roofing machine in the factory of B. J. Moss, roofing iron of any desired length, from three to forty feet, is now available in Gisborne.

The galvanised coil is fed between two decks of rollers, each set of rollers being a little larger than the last, so that by the time the iron has passed through the seventh set it has taken its final shape.

Processing 3 tons an hour the machine is fully automatic, cutting off the corrugated sheets at any pre-specified length.
