Young Champion

At the croquet championships held at Tauranga, 13-year-old Richard Clark, son of Mr and Mrs Rua Clark, 17 Asquith Street, emerged as a player of exceptional promise.

With 140 players at Tauranga, competition was keen but out of 21 games Richard won 20 and was runner-up in the other one.
