Business Goes On

Came Monday morning and all shops were back in business, despite boarded-up windows and losses in merchandise.

The Post Office, which had been classed unsafe, was transferred to various buildings in the city. The mail department took over the Army Hall, and was soon operating normally, including full P.O. box services.
