Busy Bees Dedicated

At St Andrew's Church hall recently a dedication service was held for the Te Hapara Busy Bees, attached to the Te Hapara Presbyterian Church. Photograph above shows children, accompanied by the Rev J.K. Fairbairn, minister of St. Andrew's, on the stage in the hall following the ceremony. Leader of the group is Miss E.P. Wilson, and assistant leaders are Mesdames Pevreal, Lange, Douglas, Taylor and Knowles. Group was enrolled as junior P.W.M.U. members.

The engagement is announced of Rana Helen, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs E.R. Matthews, 32 Rawiri Street, to Peter Evan Harris, younger son of Mr and Mrs W.P. Harris, Whatatutu.

Miss Shirley Henneh, daughter of Mr and Mrs W.F. Henneh, Ormond Road, whose coming-of-age was celebrated recently at a bright party held in Low's Rooms.

Still another house on wheels was noted the other day in Wi Pere Street, near the Roebuck Road bridge. This one also came from the section where the new Municipal Chambers are a-building.
