Successful Floral Festival

Gisborne's third Floral Festival was once again a great success, being attended by more than 4000 people when it was staged over two days in the Army Hall last month.

The theme of the festival was "Around the World With Flowers", and this was truly captured with courts artistically portraying typical scenes from eighteen different countries.

In addition to these, feature displays, many of them containing live demonstrations, added interest to the festival.
