Heni Matero Gala Day

A gala day, organised by the Gisborne Lions Club to raise money for the Heni Materoa Children's Home, was an outstanding success when it was staged in the home's grounds on a recent sunny Saturday.

The £230 (approximate) made on the day will be used to provide fire safety equipment and a hot water system for the new boys' wing.
