Capping Ceremony

Members of Gisborne Boys' High School representative sports teams were presented with their caps and colours by Mr F. Bull, a First XV player and captain from 1918-1922, at a ceremony in the Assembly Hall.

Both the school's soccer and rugby teams have achieved proud records this season.

The soccer team won all its school games, climaxing with a win over Colenso (Napier), who until that time had been undefeated.

The First XV has been undefeated for two successive seasons, and has lost only one game in the past four years.
