Burlesque Basketball
On the last day of the second term, children of the Riverdale School were entertained by a comical encounter on the basketball court between their school team and a side made up of members of the teaching staff.
Attired in all manner of unorthodox uniforms, the teachers were handicapped by an obvious lack of knowledge of the rules of the game, and went down by the modest margin of four goals to five.
