Indoor Bowls
Ten outside teams travelled to Gisborne for the annual Robieson Shield open fours Indoor bowling tournament, held in the Kaiti Memorial hall.
For the first time, a visiting team won the event when Mr Don Baty's Whakatane four defeated Mr George McFarlane's Poverty Bay team in the final, 24-18.
