Fisheries Cabaret

As a finale to the annual conference of the New Zealand Federation of Commercial Fishermen a cabaret was held in the Kaiti Memorial Hall.

The official party at the function, which was well attended by visiting and Gisborne fishermen, included the newly-elected president of the federation, Mr J. Kenton, of Port Chalmers, and the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs H. H. Barker.
