A one-day school on Vietnam, organised by the Gisborne-East Coast Adult Education Area Committee in conjunction with the University of Auckland's extension department, was well attended when it was held at the Girls' High School on a recent Saturday. The course was conducted by Mr S. R. Morrison, M.A., the director of the University Extension. Some of the people who attended the school are pictured with Mr Morrison examining a map of Vietnam. From left: Mr G. Gosling (president Gisborne area committee), Miss N. Thompson, Mr Morrison, Miss K. Wilson, Miss N. R. Pewhairangi (secretary), Miss J. Holland, and Mr R. Gregory.
