Our Cover Pair In Action

After posing for our cover picture, Diana Jones and Bruce Horsburgh went through some of their routines for the forthcoming New Zealand Gymnastic Championships in Gisborne.

Bruce, who was runner-up in the trampoline, and sixth in the gymnastic sections of the 1963 championships, is pictured above doing a forward grand circle (left) and a forward seat circle on the horizontal bar.

Diana, who will be competing in the championships for the first time, does the splits (left), a walk-over (centre), and a chest balance during her performance.

Both gymnasts are coached by Mr John MacFarlane and are members of the Gisborne Y.M.C.A.
