A Korean Colombo Plan student who is studying English at Victoria University, Miss Kim Eung Duk, recently paid a private visit to Gisborne. During her stay, she visited Kaiti School where members of a Maori party performed a haka in her honour. She is pictured with them after the performance.

Tom Harris, son of Mr and Mrs T. W. Harris, 269 Stout Street, who is at present on a working holiday overseas. After leaving New Zealand more than a year ago, Tom worked in the U.S.A. and Nigeria for several months before going to Great Britain where this picture was taken.
