New Salvation Army Bnilding Opened

The new buildings and renovations to the Gisborne Salvation Army's premises in Gladstone Road were officially opened by Lieutenant Colonel A. E. Albiston, chief secretary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, at a ceremony last month.

The new buildings, which cost about £18,000, contain a primary department, kitchen, offices, choir and band room, lounge, and youth centre.

Following the opening ceremony, a dedication service was held.
