Wool Board Contest

Five Gisborne women were presented with gold medals in the district final of the New Zealand Wool Board's dressmaking competition, run in conjunction with the co-ordinating committee of Country Women's Institutes and the Women's Division of Federated Farmers.

The gold medal recipients will now go forward to the New Zealand final.

Judging the contest was Mrs Pat Stewart, of Stout Street, who, for the second year, will judge the national final.
