Anglican Presentation Ball

Ten debutantes made their bow to the Very Reverend W. A. Pyatt, Dean of Christchurch, and formerly of Gisborne, at the recent Anglican Presentation Ball, field in the Kaiti Memorial Hall.

The presentation ceremony was an impressive one, with the debutantes moving the full length of the hall accompanied by their mothers or sponsors, to make a deep curtsy before Dean and Mrs Pyatt.

The event was watched by a large crowd of guests.
